Please fill out the questionnaire carefully and completely. The better the form is filled out, the more quickly we can get through with the filing of your petition. Also, be sure to bring all the documents requested when you come in for your free consultation.

The fee will be subject to Mr. Halverson’s review of your case and any special requirements that may apply in your circumstances. In general, a Chapter 7 filing will cost $950.00 if a homeowner and $850.00 if you are a renter in attorney fees and there is an additional $209.00 filing fee we have to collect prior to filing your petition with the Court. If additional work is necessary, the fee will be quoted at your initial interview. The Chapter 13 fee is $1,500.00 plus $279.00 filing fee. Business and Personal bankruptcy combined will be quoted an amount upon consultation.

• Car titles - year make model with market value and amount you still owe (in your name)

• Copy of your mortgage with legal description, market value and amount you still owe on homestead

• Retirement Plans with cash value amounts

• Whole Life Insurance policy with cash value
